I'm sure Weta would rather collectors buy their new version instead of the secondary market. So why not the Argonath? Weta is not given to repeating things and this is not a character that you can do 10 times over with different poses and costumes, it's a static environment that can only be recreated in the exact same way each time, except to vary the size.
As much as I would like to see this happen (I don't own the original and desperately sought one before giving up), I remain very skeptical. Get the best deals for argonath bookends at.
